Franchisee expansion indicates growth for ISA-UK member Signs Express

The past six months have seen three Signs Express Franchisees expand their portfolios with the acquisition of additional centres and Signs Express Limited take on a company owned centre.

  • In April, Ben Walker concluded the purchase of his second production centre, adding Signs Express (Gloucester & Cheltenham) to his existing centre in Bristol.
  • The Kay family, owners of Signs Express (Bath), took on Signs Express (Swindon) as a start-up centre in June.
  • Most recently, Craig Tiley and Emma Hurst have taken on Signs Express (Chester) and Signs Express (Warrington) alongside their first centre in Stoke-On-Trent.

Jonathan Bean, Managing Director of Signs Express Limited said: “It’s great that our franchisees are exploring this avenue of growth and we’re very keen to continue this trend. Owning multiple territories and centres is a big commitment and the benefits can be hugely positive.”

Signs Express Limited are also proud to announce the purchase of Signs Express (Twickenham) as a company owned centre. This expansion allows the training of new franchisees and existing staff across the network, further development of business and customer relationships, testing of products, services and equipment and will help drive and road test future strategic plans.

Aaron Davis, Network Development Director at Signs Express Ltd said: “There are many nationwide benefits and opportunities unlocked with us having a company owned centre. The key driver of this decision was to get back to practical, day-to-day operations to trial, test, learn and improve. In turn we are then able to take these learnings to support the entire network.”
