ISA-UK member ArtSystems along with ISA-UK launch Open Print Forum series

ArtSystems, the Nottingham-based specialist systems distributor and service provider, is delighted to announce the launch of a new series of events showcasing how specific print technologies can help print service providers (PSPs) succeed in the modern market.

Developed in partnership with the International Sign Association UK (ISA-UK), the Open Print Forum will explore a number of key technologies and showcase how they can be used to strengthen PSPs’ businesses.

Featured technologies in the series will include products from leading manufacturers such as Summa, Onyx and Vanguard, with those in attendance gaining an insight into how these companies’ solutions can help them to grow productivity and expand into profitable new markets.

In addition, the Open Print Forum series will offer advice and guidance on how to assess the right technology for specific applications and advise on how PSPs might go about purchasing these products.

The first session in the new series will kick off at 10.30am on 28th June 2023. Attendees will first be introduced to the Open Print Forum concept and learn how both ArtSystems and ISA-UK can support print businesses when it comes to investing in new technologies.

Following this, a presentation titled ‘When should you look at investing in new technology?’ will cover how to grow print businesses, looking at key points such as print volumes and applications, and print workflow and finishing.

Attendees will then hear from experts from Vanguard, Summa and Onyx on the benefits of new investment in print and related technology, with insights into their latest solutions.

After enjoying half-an-hour of lunch and networking, an ArtSystems-led session called ‘Seeing is believing’ will offer an integrated overview of print management, print and print finishing, looking at core productivity advantages.

The day will end with a 30-minute Q&A session at 2.30pm where attendees will be able to raise queries about any of the topics covered during the day.

“While the idea of new investment in technology to support growth is obviously attractive to print businesses, it is not quite as simple as simply buying a machine and installing it,” ArtSystems’ Marketing Manager John Draycott said. “There is so much more to consider when committing to investment, and we understand this can be quite tricky for businesses.

“Our new Open Print Forum series will help to guide print businesses during this process, allowing them to identify the best and most cost-effective solutions to drive success and future growth.”
