We are delighted to announce that MK Marking Systems, Milton Keynes have been selected as the May winner of BSGA Members in Action, our initiative created to recognise and champion the outstanding work delivered across our diverse membership community.
The winning project, delivered at Towcester Racecourse, Northamptonshire, involved a comprehensive site wide signage refurbishment, showcasing the breadth and capability of modern commercial signmaking.
The scheme included acrylic door signs, large format wall graphics, external banners, entrance and exit signage, metal plaques, parking and directional signage, wayfinding systems, trackside advertising, CCTV identification signage, health and safety signage, and internal facility signage including washroom identification.
This was not a single product installation, but a fully coordinated signage rollout across a complex environment, requiring consistency, accuracy, and careful integration across multiple signage types and locations. The scale and variety of applications demanded strong production control and disciplined installation planning to ensure a cohesive and professional finish across the site.
The result is a visually transformed venue where signage now works as a complete system, supporting both visitor experience and operational clarity, whilst elevating the overall presentation of the racecourse environment.
Projects of this nature demonstrate the value of full service capability within our industry – where design understanding, production control, and installation expertise come together to deliver environments that are not only well branded, but highly functional.
Programme pace and volume of work are important considerations, but it is the ability to deliver consistency across a diverse range of signage disciplines that defines true capability. MK Marking Systems have demonstrated exactly that in this notable scheme.
This initiative continues to celebrate the skill, professionalism, and commitment shown in projects of all sizes across our membership. Every completed job matters, and we are consistently impressed by the standard of work being shared.

Each month, the Board of Directors selects a standout project based on quality, adherence to best practice, and overall competence demonstrated. Monthly winners will be entered into the annual review, where one member will be named BSGA Member in Action Champion 2026, recognising exceptional creativity, professionalism, and contribution to the industry.
