We are delighted to announce that Signs Now UK have been selected as the July winner of BSGA Members in Action, our initiative created to recognise and champion the outstanding work delivered across our diverse membership community.
The winning project, delivered at Farnborough Airport for Flexjet, demonstrates the skill, planning and expertise required to deliver large scale illuminated signage within a complex operational environment
Following the successful completion of a previous hangar project at Farnborough Airport, Signs Now UK were recommended to Flexjet, leading to the opportunity to deliver a new external signage scheme for the aviation brand.
The project involved the manufacture and installation of two large built up illuminated logos designed to create a strong visual presence against the backdrop of neighbouring hangars.
Manufactured in aluminium with acrylic faces, the signage combined precision fabrication with effective illumination to deliver a bold and distinctive brand statement.
Working within a live airport environment presented additional challenges for the team, requiring effective risk management, detailed planning and close coordination around aircraft movements, operational restrictions and site access requirements. The installation involved working at height and the use of access equipment, alongside the additional consideration of working during a period of extreme heat. Through careful planning and appropriate controls, the team managed the associated risks while delivering the project safely within an active aviation facility.
Despite these challenges, the team successfully delivered the project, achieving the required finish whilst managing the operational demands of a live airport environment.
The completed signage provides Flexjet with a distinctive presence at Farnborough Airport, demonstrating how skilled fabrication, considered design, effective risk management and professional installation combine to deliver signage solutions in demanding environments.
This initiative continues to celebrate the skill, professionalism, and commitment shown in projects of all sizes across our membership. Every completed job matters, and we are consistently impressed by the standard of work being shared.

Each month, the Board of Directors selects a standout project based on quality, adherence to best practice, and overall competence demonstrated. Monthly winners will be entered into the annual review, where one member will be named BSGA Member in Action Champion 2026, recognising exceptional creativity, professionalism, and contribution to the industry.
