Gary Bagstaff, BSGA Board Member and Managing Director of Sauce tells about the recent golf day held by William Smith and Arlon
We were delighted to join teams from across the UK last month for the William Smith and Arlon Golf Day at Donington & Co Golf Resort in Newbury.
There was plenty of friendly competition, some impressive golf, a few interesting shots and, most importantly, a great day of networking and catching up with friends and colleagues from across the industry.
A special mention goes to Alison and Daisy from William Smith, who kept everyone refreshed by driving the drinks buggies around the course all day. A tough job, but someone had to do it.
We’d also like to mention Richard Edwards, Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland at Arlon, who co-hosted the event and used it to announce his retirement. We wish Richard all the very best for the next chapter, although we’re sure he’ll still find time to pick up a golf club or two.
There were plenty of winners on the day, but congratulations to Jonny Harle, who took home the prize for Individual Winner.
And well done to our own BSGA Board Directors, Ian Spence and Gary Bagstaff, who represented the Association on the course.
Thank you to everyone at William Smith and Arlon for putting on such a brilliant event, and to everyone who took part for making it such an enjoyable day.
