Greens has attended more than 380 site for CVS Group as part of a major rebrand across its UK-wide Vetenirary estate

The work spans from high street practices to large standalone sites, and reaches as far as Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight.
This project has seen Greens work across the estate for over a year, with nine months of installations delivered in waves to meet agreed completion dates. With more than 380 individual sites involved, each location presented its own requirements, making the project as much about adapting to individual sites as it was about delivering at scale.
The resulting signage has included flex face signs, printed ACM panels and traditional hand-painted signwriting, with solutions tailored to the requirements of each practice rather than applying a standard package across every site.
Greens’ in-house production teams also had to balance advance manufacturing with the changing requirements of the rollout. Standardised elements such as reception signs were produced in batches and held in stock, with between 20 and 40 units typically available at any one time. Other signage was manufactured as individual site drawings were approved, requiring production to remain flexible as each installation wave progressed.

Across the nine-month installation period, an average of three to four Greens fixing crews were working across the CVS Vets estate at any one time from Monday to Friday. With most veterinary practices remaining operational throughout the rollout, installation teams also had to work around branch opening hours and minimise disruption to staff and animals. Where internal works involved drilling, some installations were completed outside normal opening hours.
The scale and variety of the estate meant that no two installations were necessarily the same. From large standalone practices such as the Falmouth site to more unusual locations, including one freestanding sign installed in a field alongside a group of cows, the project has required Greens’ teams to adapt their approach throughout.
Greens has been proud to act as CVS Group’s primary signage contractor throughout the rollout, helping to bring consistency to the new CVS Vets identity while retaining the individual character and practical requirements of each location.
