Connecting with Our International Industry Community

The signs and graphics industry is connected well beyond individual markets. Internationally, businesses and professionals are navigating many of the same challenges – from skills and recruitment to technology, efficiency and changing stakeholder expectations. Being part of these wider conversations supports us to understand how others are approaching those challenges, and these valuable perspectives helps informs our own work at BSGA.
This year sees the launch of Connect Conference 2026, taking place during Visual Impact Expo in Sydney. The conference has been designed to bring together business leaders, industry experts and decision makers from across the print, sign and graphics sector, exploring key topics including business trends, emerging technologies, sustainability and strategies for success.
I am delighted to be representing the British Signs and Graphics Association (BSGA) at the conference, where I will take part in the International Industry Insights session led by Karren Challoner-Miles, CEO of Visual Connections.
The session will bring together representatives from international industry associations to share perspectives on the role associations play in supporting their sectors and responding to the changing needs of the industries they serve.
For BSGA, opportunities such as this reinforce the importance of understanding the issues affecting our sector and ensuring our work remains focused on the priorities that matter most to members. Through engagement with industry colleagues, we can continue to develop our knowledge, strengthen relationships and support the continued professionalism of our wider signs and graphics industry.
I look forward to representing BSGA at Connect Conference 2026 and sharing reflections from the event in our September edition of the BSGA Bulletin.
Connect Conference 2026 will take place from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th September 2026 during Visual Impact Expo at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, with sessions running from 9:00am to 1:30pm Australian Eastern Time each day.
