BSGA Launches New Training Initiatives with Support from BPIF Training

The BSGA has announced the launch of a new suite of training and education initiatives supported by BPIF Training.

BPIF Training is a leading provider in the United Kingdom’s print manufacturing sector. While the signage industry remains unregulated, these opportunities will complement existing training options, providing organisations and individuals with valuable skills and knowledge bases to enhance compliance, governance, and best practices.

Linda Edwards, Managing Director, BSGA

Beginning in 2025, the BSGA’s initiative will introduce widely recognised accreditations and certifications, strengthen partnerships with educational institutions and industry stakeholders, and create accessible Continuous Professional Development (CPD) pathways. These training solutions are designed to be both industry-specific and transferable, assisting organisations in scaling and enabling individuals to realise their full potential.

The training will cover key areas such as operational best practices, regulatory compliance, ethical standards, and governance through a mix of workshops, webinars, and online courses. Topics will also include organisational responsibilities, risk management, and internal controls. Certification options will be available for those seeking advanced expertise. Additionally, benchmarking tools will be provided to help organisations measure and improve performance in accordance with industry customs, practices, and standards.

Karly Lattimore, Managing Director – BPIF Training, says, “BPIF Training is delighted to support the BSGA in launching these new training initiatives. With our industries so well aligned, we recognise the value of structured learning pathways in strengthening skills, compliance, and best practices across the signage sector. We look forward to working closely with BSGA to develop industry-specific training solutions that enhance professional development and position signage as a credible, future-focused career choice.”

These initiatives will complement existing training options, while the BSGA remains committed to developing credible, industry-specific training solutions. Ongoing efforts are focused on establishing structured learning pathways that facilitate professional development and promote best practices across the signage sector.

With the support of BPIF Training, the BSGA is committed to positioning the signage industry as a forward-thinking, credible career choice.
