BSGA to Launch Key Education and Training Initiatives in 2025

By Linda Edwards, Managing Director

In 2025, our Association will launch key education and training initiatives to enhance our industry’s compliance, governance, and benchmarking practices. Objectives include establishing industry-recognised certifications, fostering partnerships with educational institutions and industry stakeholders, and creating accessible Continuous Professional Development (CPD) pathways.

We will introduce comprehensive industry-specific training programmes featuring workshops, webinars, and online courses covering relevant operational practices, guidelines, regulations, compliance and ethical business activities. Our governance training will promote best practices in the signage industry, focusing on organisational and business owner responsibilities, risk management, and internal controls, alongside certification programs for advanced expertise.

Benchmarking initiatives will equip members with tools and resources to measure and compare performance against industry standards and implement improvements. By addressing working practices and establishing contextual understanding to support accessibility and visibility, the committee continues to champion communication and collaboration to establish essential standards and strategies necessary to lower barriers to entry for all stakeholders.

In summary, the committee recognises the fundamental role it performs in positioning the signage industry as an appealing career choice for future generations, driving innovation and nurturing a strong community within the sector.

We are excited about the proactive impact these education and training initiatives will have in 2025 and beyond!
