Fitzpatrick Woolmer, the British heritage and outdoor signage company based in Rochester, Kent, is proud to announce a landmark moment in its 30-year history with the award of a Royal Warrant.
This milestone marks both recognition of long-standing excellence and a confident step forward for the business as it continues to evolve.
The Royal Warrant, granted this year to just 36 non-Warrant-holding companies[MW1] , is one of the highest marks of recognition for quality, service and consistency. For Fitzpatrick Woolmer, it reflects three decades of designing, creating and manufacturing high-quality signage for some of the UK’s most popular, prestigious, heritage and family visitor attractions, including the Sandringham Estate, RSPB sites, National Trust locations.
Managing Director Mark Woolmer said: “This is an incredibly proud moment for our business. Receiving a Royal Warrant is a huge honour and to be one of only 36 non-Warrant-holding companies recognised this year makes it even more meaningful.”

A Royal Warrant is one of the most prestigious marks of recognition in the UK, granted to companies that have supplied goods or services to the Royal Household and demonstrated the highest standards of quality, service and excellence over a sustained period of time.
Awarded only to a small number of businesses, the warrant is seen as a symbol of trust, craftsmanship and consistency, recognising companies that uphold exceptional standards within their industry.
With no plans to slow down their incredible success, Fitzpatrick Woolmer has also just unveiled a refreshed brand identity and new website designed to better reflect its capabilities, craftsmanship and purpose-driven approach. The updated digital platform provides clearer access to information, improved navigation and a more engaging way to explore the company’s work across interpretation and wayfinding.
Woolmer continued: “At the same time as the Royal Warrant achievement, our rebrand and new website mark an important step forward for how we present ourselves to the world. Together, these milestones reflect both where we’ve come from and where we’re going next. Above all, it’s a tribute to our team – their skill, passion and commitment to doing things properly.”
Fitzpatrick Woolmer’s approach continues to be rooted in partnership, working closely with clients to design signage that does more than inform – it connects people to place, strengthens storytelling and enhances the physical, cultural and emotional experience of visitors.
With sustainability at its core, the company continues to prioritise responsibly sourced materials and long-lasting manufacturing methods. All signage is carefully crafted by time-served craftspeople who take pride in producing work that enhances visitor experiences while respecting the environments in which it sits.
The refreshed brand identity and website reflect this philosophy more clearly than ever before, offering a more accessible and engaging way to understand the breadth of Fitzpatrick Woolmer’s expertise and the impact of its work.
This latest chapter represents both celebration and progression — recognising 30 years of craftsmanship, creativity and collaboration, while setting the tone for the future of the business.
Fitzpatrick Woolmer continues to build on its reputation as a trusted creative partner, helping places across the UK tell their stories in meaningful, enduring ways.
