By Linda Edwards, Managing Director
As champions of the UK signage industry, the British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA) remains committed to advocating for our members while fostering a collaborative, thriving community that drives industry best practice and growth. This year’s 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, 19th June 2025, marked a key moment for reflection, collaboration, and strategic direction.
I would like to personally thank all those who were able to attend and contribute to this important event in our annual calendar. Your participation helps ensure that the BSGA continues to represent the real and diverse voice of our industry, from small to medium size organisations to major suppliers, manufacturers, and all industry stakeholders.
The AGM provided a vital platform to:
Reflect on our progress over the last 12 months.
Share key developments and achievements.
Outline our strategic priorities for 2025–2026.
And, most importantly, hear directly from our members.
We welcomed key updates from David Allen (President), Craig Brown (Chairman), Sue Hewick (Office Manager) and myself, covering initiatives focused on:
Exploring member engagement and benefits.
Strengthening commercial and training partnerships.
Enhancing compliance and governance.
Promoting skills, education, and career pathways through our support of the sign making apprenticeship and training provision.
In keeping with our values of Community, Communication, Collaboration, Compliance, and Championing the industry, we continue to align our activities around tangible support for members and measurable impact for the sector.
I am pleased to share the official AGM Minutes and Presentation Slides, which provide a summary of the discussions and decisions made:
