Community Inspires. Collaboration Delivers.

The first Women in Signs & Graphics Keynote Brunch took place in Doncaster on 14th October 2025, hosted by Project Display Ltd, and was attended by more than thirty women representing the full spectrum of the signage and graphics industry.

The event was organised by Chloe Dixon of Project Display Ltd, alongside Izabella Ivanovici and Sarah Fenna of Women in Signs & Graphics. It provided an open forum for discussion on career development, inclusion, and collaboration across roles ranging from apprentices and designers to operational specialists, senior leaders, and business owners.

A values workshop led by life coach Kate Grosvenor encouraged reflection on confidence, communication, and leadership in the workplace, while insights from Marianne Steel of The Printing Charity highlighted the organisation’s work and the wider impact of supporting the industry community.

The British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA) was represented by Managing Director Linda Edwards and Office Manager Sue Hewick, who joined attendees in exploring ways to strengthen professional networks and promote shared learning across the sector.

Events like this highlight the positive impact of industry collaboration and community building – key priorities for the BSGA as the association continues to support professional development, diversity, and inclusion within the UK signage and graphics industry.

Linda Edwards, Managing Director (BSGA), said:
“Our industry thrives when talent is nurtured, diverse perspectives come together, and opportunities for growth are championed. Initiatives such as Women in Signs & Graphics provide a platform for different roles and generations to connect, share experiences, and create a space for collective growth. At the BSGA, we remain committed to supporting events and platforms that foster connection, open dialogue, professional development, and visibility—ensuring that both expertise and the individuals delivering it are recognised and valued.”

Together, we can shape the future of signage, elevate industry standards, and continue building a connected, collaborative community.
