At their store in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent the task was to replace the old flat cut Foamex lettering with a more attractive and inviting illuminated sign over the entrance in keeping with the retailer’s brand and stylish shabby chic product range. W&Co manufactured an LED illuminated sign tray with fret cut Flutterbyes logo and various sized butterflies which were inlaid with opal acrylic and faced with backlit coloured vinyl.
To further enhance the store’s entrance a set of built-up halo illuminated letters of the Flutterbyes logo were installed vertically on the angled wall that sits beside the entrance way to better attract the eyes of customers walking by.
More recently W&Co was asked to create similar shop front signage for Flutterbyes for their brand new store at Lakeside Shopping Centre, in Essex. For the main shop sign halo illuminated built up letters were fixed back to a cream coloured folded sign tray which was applied with subtle vinyl butterfly and swirl decorations. W&Co was also asked to create and install some larger format wall vinyl graphics by replicating the vinyl decoration on the entrance sign on the interior walls of the shop which really helped the store design to flow throughout drawing customer’s attention.
Flutterbyes have future plans for new stores in London and W&Co look forward to working with them as they continue to grow the company.
