Sign and vehicle livery specialist Allen Signs has welcomed a new recruit to support its busy sales and production teams.
Amanda Barnett, from Bassingham near Lincoln, has joined the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire-based family-run business as Sales Administrator. Amanda (38), who has worked in the travel industry for over 20 years, brings a wealth of customer service experience from her previous role at Thomas Cook.
In her new job, she will be responsible for scheduling in work and liaising with customers.
Director Glen Merryweather said: “We’re delighted to welcome Amanda to our growing team. She will manage the process of booking in and progressing jobs, liaising between the sales and production teams, to help keep customers as informed and up to date as possible.
“Allen Signs has seen an increase in new and repeat business over the last few months which has been great for us as it means we’re doing a good job! As the company grows, we’re keen to maintain our strong family values and Amanda’s appointment is a good fit.”
Amanda added: “I’m delighted to be part of such a family-oriented business, which has helped me to achieve a better work and home life balance. The travel industry was very tough and required me to work long hours which didn’t fit in with being a mum to a young daughter.
“I really enjoy working with people and being in a customer-focused role so this is the ideal job for me.”
Allen Signs was established in 1965 and specialises in complete design, display and vehicle livery solutions, from design to final installation and maintenance.
The company has worked with many well known organisations from all over the East Midlands and further afield including LG Electronics, University of Lincoln, Lincolnshire Co-op, DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln and premiership rugby team Leicester Tigers.
