Mike Hall, Chairman of the Committee said he was delighted that Murray Crompton had agreed to join the committee which, amongst other things, is responsible for producing the BSGA’s Technical Guidelines: “Although both sign makers and sign suppliers have a role to play, I have always maintained that the more sign makers we have involved, the better.”
BSGA Director David Catanach also welcomed Mr Crompton. “Modern sign making is a fast moving industry with new technologies being introduced all the time. It is vital that we have input from actual sign makers about what is required in the modern era. I’m sure Mr. Crompton will make a valuable contribution to the ongoing work of the Technical Committee.”
Mr Compton said he was happy to accept the invitation to join the committee: “I do hope my knowledge and experience will go some way to broaden the outlook of the BSGA and the raise the car in the standards required of its members.”
