Hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 5:30pm with ½ hour for lunch).
Location: West Thurrock, Grays, Essex.

A great opportunity to join W&Co, a dynamic print, display & sign company, as a Sales Executive taking inbound sales enquiries and converting them into orders. Located in Lakeside Retail Park, West Thurrock, Essex in modern air conditioned offices, warehouse & showroom with free car parking, staff ‘break-out’ area with TV & snacks. W&Co has well known clients from industries such as retail, media and automotive, including John Lewis, BBC & BMW.

The Job Role

  • Dealing with incoming calls and emails from clients and suppliers.
  • Contacting suppliers for costings.
  • Quoting clients.
  • Following up on quotes.
  • Converting enquiries into sales.
  • Processing orders.
  • Organising and overseeing jobs and projects.
  • General customer service.
  • Some Graphic Design and/or 3D Drawing if able.

What we are looking for:
The company is seeking to recruit a bright, friendly and versatile individual who can handle new and existing client enquiries, write up quotes and then convert them into sales and process orders. To oversee the smooth running of jobs and projects of small to larger prestigious clients, with job values ranging from £100 to £100,000 or more and offering the client a high level of customer service all the way.

The applicant should have a professional and friendly telephone manner, the ability to communicate proficiently by email, be able to calculate quotes accurately and be really well organised and thorough to oversee jobs efficiently.

Graphic skills could prove useful in this role when dealing with different client requirements, these skills could be graphic design (i.e. Adobe CS) and/or 3D design (we use SketchUp).
Essentially the company is looking for a good all-rounder with the willingness to assist with all elements of the day-to-day running of a busy design, printing, display and sign business.

Experience in any of the following fields would be advantageous: –
Inbound Sales, Field Sales, Account Handling, Graphic Design, 3D Design, Web Design, Print, Graphics, Displays, Signs.

Knowledge of any of the following design programs could also be advantageous: –
Adobe CS, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Quark, Sketchup, KeyShot.

Candidate must have:-

  • Previous office experience.
  • Maths & English C, or higher, at GCSE/O-level (or equivalent).
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent, professional and friendly phone manner.

Product training, database training and other relevant training is given.
