New from William Smith: VION VP4000 Now Compatible with Solvent Printers and Vehicle Graphics

William Smith is pleased to announce exciting updates to their PVC-free digital print film, VION VP4000, enhancing its capabilities and expanding its applications. As the name suggests, VP4000 falls in between VP3000 and VP5000 within the VION portfolio, offering a mid-term, environmentally friendly option for promotional graphics and displays.

A new variant has been introduced to the series, compatible with solvent print systems. This addition makes VP4000 a more versatile choice, offering businesses increased flexibility when it comes to PVC-free options.

Additionally, VP4000 has now been fully tested and approved for vehicle graphics, allowing it to be used on flat vehicle panels. This extension offers customers a reliable sustainable option, particularly beneficial for the growing number of businesses switching over to electric-powered fleets.

VP4000 is an intermediate-term PVC-free digital print film with 4-year durability, perfect for flat or slightly curved surfaces. Available in white and transparent variants with gloss or matt finishes, it also features V-Flow air release options for bubble-free application. This ensures an eco-friendly choice without compromising on print quality or ease of installation.

With a fire rating classification of B-s1, d0 (standard: ISO 13501-1 / ISO 11925-2), VP4000 is ideal for internal public spaces such as airports and shopping centres.

Alongside VP4000, William Smith is also pleased to offer the compatible PVC-free overlaminate, VL4000. This polypropylene overlaminate features a clear, permanent, pressure-sensitive adhesive and is available in gloss and matt finishes. It is designed for use with any print film in the VP4000 Series range, providing added durability and protection.
