Absolute SG partner Worldpay’s international rebrand

But I also wanted to bring an above-and-beyond level of service and after-sales care to every project we work on. For that reason we’re calling Absolute Signs and Graphics a consultancy. Clients approach us to help them manage and deliver large and complex sign and large format printing projects.

Absolute Signs and Graphics was appointed as the signage and large format printing partner for Worldpay and its international rebrand after a full RFP through the Worldpay Procurement Function.

Worldpay is one of the world’s leading financial transaction companies with fifteen offices in eight countries. Their software accounts for more than 50% of all shopping transactions in Europe and the UK.

The Brief

  • Undertake an audit of all Worldpay offices globally
  • Determine requirements for each sign and graphic
  • Specify and develop the product to promote the new brand
  • Manage brand consistency across the international estate
  • Co-ordinate all re-brand works on the same day globally

NOT MUCH OF A CHALLENGE THEN!

The UK was dealt with directly by Absolute Signs and Graphics. We visited nine offices from Gateshead to Cambridge and undertook in-depth audits of the existing signage.

We used our membership of the BSGA and Absolute Signs and Graphics’s own LinkedIn network to source local suppliers around the world: The Netherlands, Sweden, San Francisco in the US, Toronto and Quebec in Canada, Singapore and two sites in India.

Pride Signs in Canada, Marty’s Signs in San Francisco and Signarama in Singapore helped us, firstly, carry out a brand audit and then, secondly, to install the new signage using print ready files designed and supplied by Absolute Signs and Graphics.

We worked closely with Worldpay’s facilities management team, their branding team and their branding agency. Over several weeks we developed a specification for the signage and delivered several samples to the branding workshops until a decision was reached.

The design process followed this discovery stage. Once the designs for each office were approved we then set about manufacturing a wide rage of signage and arranging delivery worldwide.

On 14th February 2014 all of WorldPay’s offices were rebranded without major disruption. During the course of the rebrand process we clocked up:

  • 60+ hours of project management
  • 70+ hours of design time
  • 170+ hours of manufacture
  • using 24 teams in 6 countries

Products we delivered included:

  • High level building signs
  • Acrylic logo panels in various sizes
  • Window graphics & many meters of etched glass vinyl
  • Internal way-finding and directory signs
  • Digital display panel logos
  • Flags & graphic banners
  • 120+ of the Absolute roll up display printed and shipped to Worldpay’s international offices

The end result was a culmination of meticulous networking, planning, project management, teamwork and execution.

I am really proud of our team, both here in the UK and around the world. As a consultancy, we’re able to adapt to each project’s individual requirements. We demand the highest quality in signs and graphics by providing the very best in project management.

The outcome was a perfect project and a very happy client.
