New SICCS Card Launch: Commercial Signage Installer – Provisional
The British Sign & Graphics Association (BSGA) is proud to announce the launch of the new SICCS Commercial Signage Installer – Provisional card, developed in partnership with the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS).
This digital-only card has been created to support operatives working within the signage and shopfitting sectors, enabling safe and compliant access to sites whilst they work towards a full qualification.
Card Requirements:
CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test at Operative level (must be valid within three years of application)
Minimum qualification required:
RQF Level 1 / SCQF Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, or
SCQF Level 5 REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Certificate
Validity: 18 months (non-renewable)
Card issue cost: £30 + VAT
Professional confirmation discussion with BSGA*: £25 + VAT (one-off payment)
*Please note: If you are not currently a member of the BSGA or NAS, you will be contacted by either organisation during the card’s active period to confirm your ongoing eligibility. This is due to the provisional nature of the card.
This initiative offers individuals in the signage and shopfitting industries a clear route to safe site access, skills development, and career progression.
The BSGA is delighted to work alongside the NAS to deliver this important step forward for the industry – strengthening standards of safety, professionalism, and workforce development across the UK signage sector.
