ISA-UK member Antalis launches the new edition of the ANTALIS INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD, the international competition dedicated to personalised interior design

Intended to highlight the most creative and innovative projects in interior design, the 2022/2023 edition of this competition begins on 1st October

In order to push the boundaries of imagination by expanding the possibilities to create personalised spaces, Europe’s leading distributor of visual communication solutions, Antalis, announces the new edition of the Antalis Interior Design Award competition.

The first two editions of the competition, which took place in 2017 and 2019, were a real success bringing together nearly 800 projects from more than 29 countries, 61 000 visitors to the Antalis Interior Design Award website and significant visibility in the media and via social networks.

From 1st October 2022 to 31st January 2023, interior designers, architects, printers, installers and all creative professionals are invited to submit their interior projects that use at least one product from Antalis. The most impressive projects will then be presented to a high-profile international jury from the global design arena.

Completed projects 

The competition will reward the finest started or completed projects from the end of the previous edition (1st February 2020) until the end of the current competition (31st January 2023). Professionals can compete in one or more of five categories: Hospitality, Retail, Office, Home and Public building.

  • Three special awards

The competition has three new categories this yearthe “Special Interior Film Prize” and the “Special Windows Film Prize” where applicants using Coala’s decorative adhesive films for walls or windows will also be eligible for one or both of these awards. Furthermore, candidates wishing to compete for the “Special Sustainable Prize” can use Antalis’ environmentally friendly products with more than two stars in the Antalis Green Star System.

  • Original pattern prize

The “Original Pattern Prize” will be awarded to two winners. Each winner will be offered the opportunity to print their pattern on a Coala substrate of their choice, which will materialise their creation.

  • 3D projects on a white model – canteen 

In addition, Antalis will make available blank 3D models for creative interpretation using the Coala range of materials. For the 2022 competition, the 3D model will be a canteen environment.

12 winners will be announced in March 2023 and their awards will be presented at a ceremony in Paris. They will receive extensive media coverage, as well as visibility via the Antalis gallery on the competition website, social media, on Antalis’ websites and at international trade shows and customer events in Europe and beyond.
